Get a meeting with ReadWriteWeb writer Jon Mitchell

I am a Canadian with a ton of personality that will not only foster an amazing relationship with Jon BUT I bring a TON of questions.... Everyone loves a Question Queen with spunk - come on! (p.s. I feel this is a great reason to meet everyone on this panel!)

I'm at a teen startup incubator in Mountain View called Teens in Tech. Last Friday we had our demo day where I be presented http://www.MySchoolHelp.com. Jon, you're the kind of person I'd love to hang out with sometime to chat and learn from your experience.

We've been very low profile with RewardMe, avoiding most press. We've just raised $850K and was listed at Top 10 Companies to Watch by AlwaysOn. We think it's time to become a bit more public. We're also implementing our product into big brands like Denny's, Wetzel's Pretzels, and more. We think we have an exciting opportunity of bringing the "inevitable future" to the present. Also, we'd love to learn from your experiences as you have seen tons of startups rise and fail!

Actually, as The LinkedIn Ninja, I would think that Jon would want to talk to me! I just checked out his profile (http://www.linkedin.com/in/jonmitchell87) and I can definitely give some tips for improvement:-) Other than that, I am on the cutting edge of providing training, consulting, and strategies on how to more effectively use LinkedIn for sales and business development. Over the next few months, I also hope to have a tool that will help make usage of a key LinkedIn feature that has been proven to generate business much more efficient and effective - but that's hush, hush until I get my developers and funding in place - but it will be big for LinkedIn power users.

I'm particularly curious to learn how best to get the attention of people like Jon to get visibility while helping them provide great content. That's going to be particularly important for me when I get this web app project off the ground. I'm sure there is a fine line between stalking/harassing and providing interesting information.

Finally, I'm just a neat-o person to talk to - at least that's what my mom tells me (even though she knows nothing about my business, LinkedIn, social media or the internet) - and I like to believe her:-).

We have been working on Mystorya.com for a year in a half now and we are getting ready to launch after a month of testing. Mystorya is a social networking website to share YOUR stories with your friends, family, and the world. We are planning to accumulate the world's stories one at a time for our future to have history. Bands, Celebs, and Anyone are Welcome!

I have created an adhoc social networking iPhone app called Locally for neighbors to communicate, share & organize. Neighborhood websites have backfired in the past. I am working with different assumptions. It would be nice to run my assumptions and objectives by Jon. Also, I need to ask Jon how he tracks startups that have not yet received funding.
