Our goal is to solve the huge problem of product research & discovery through crowd-sourced reviews. We sit in a growing space –at the intersection of Q&A (Quora), comparison (FindTheBest) and review (Amazon reviews) sites.
With your investment in CrowdFlower, I know this space is of interest to you. And, it’s an area you have expertise in so your insights would be very valuable to us!

I'm developing an Enterprise SaaS application that is very in line with Manu's previous experience (E.piphany and others) and interests.
My team is creating a "Salesforce.com for Marketing", basically a central location for mid-sized marketing teams to plan, execute, and track their online AND off-line campaigns (trade shows, collateral creation, etc.). It answers the three most pressing questions most CMO's and Directors of Marketing are asked on a daily basis: a) Where is the marketing budget being spent? b) Who is doing what and when? c) What is Marketing's ROI?
We have built a product that is now in Beta, have a few companies using it and giving us feedback, and are preparing to go live soon. Other companies have already approached us for potential partnerships and even one potential acquisition.
In sum, we are getting signals there is a tremendous market opportunity and I would love to explore with Manu some options and get his input on the best next steps.

Manu – Just yesterday I came out of stealth and launched a social music app called LetsListen http://www.betabeat.com/2011/08/18/letslisten-aims-to-be-a-turntable-killer/ I’m a technical founder, the business is in an incredibly hot space, it has a realistic revenue model, it’s capital efficient, and I’m in SF. I’d love to meet and tell you more. AngelList profile - http://angel.co/letslisten

I'm searching for investors/advisors who understand my intense passion for all things Asian and the in-depth, electic experience I bring to my multimedia start-up. As an engineer, author & entrepreneur, my goal is to establish Asian Fusion as a global lifestyle brand that is internationally recognized for providing valuable information, products, entertainment and dining options to a wide market.

I have created an adhoc social networking iPhone app called Locally for neighbors to communicate, share & organize. Neighborhood websites have backfired in the past. I am working with different assumptions. It would be nice to run my assumptions and objectives by Manu. Also, I can contribute to his other investment Zimride.

I'm at a teen startup incubator in Mountain View called Teens in Tech. Last Friday we had our demo day where I be presented http://www.MySchoolHelp.com. Manu, you're the kind of person I'd love to hang out with sometime to chat and learn from your experience.

We need guidance on how to best position our revenue models with our user acquisition models. We are Moodfish - a Pandora for finding local things to do. We've learned, built, tested and iterated on our dime. We’ve built on a bootstrap budget what others have raised A rounds to do.
We have clear path to exit and we would love to pick your brain on the best ways to get there.

Hi Manu, gary here -- http://www.linkedin.com/in/garygoates
Our team has written a business plan narrative, which if we meet will be available to you in advance either as a 11-page .pdf file or interactively via Google Docs.
Working within the spaces of Social Networking / Social Media / On-line Advertising / On-line Education, we have the potential of disruptively taking multiple niche target markets away from Google's AdWords. We have the potential of supplanting, not replacing, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+.
We currently seek early-stage funding of a surprisingly modest amount -- in part because our initial website deployment can be largely outsourced.
Your investment risk would be diversified across about four realistic potential revenue streams, as well as diversified across about four well-identified target markets.
Each of our co-founders (currently 3) bring a solid value, via blogging experience, graduate-level teaching experience, and software development experience. Our content will run the gamut from user-posted tweet-like comments, to blogs, to works of substantial educational value. Our Web 2.0 and mobile-device user experience will (in later releases) be second to none. Our management team is committed to merging the excitement of agile Ruby on Rails development with old-school software engineering via written software requirements and phased implementation plans.
Hope to hear from you,
Gary B. Goates

I am a strong advocate for interpersonal relationships. Frankly social media is threatening this and is eroding away such relationships. The answer is to leverage technology to bring back this through voice. GabbX specializes in creating mobile based apps that use multiple social media APIs to bring voice to a text based monotonous world. We are seeking seed funding to make his happen.
